So, I favorited you. As you might guess by the very name of it, I only favorite things I either really like, or see sufficient miscellaneous merit in. Tread carefully, because while art has no shortcuts, it does have dead ends.

I seem to always regret a past self, even recent ones, probably because people tend to hold a predisposed and or simply outdated impression of a person, which can be difficult to alter. Alteration of reputation is also made difficult by inefficient communication between persons; they don't know what you've experienced, they don't know your judgment calls, and they don't know your intentions. By and by, people can become blind and ignorant of how you have changed.

The summer vacation is coming to an end, and the demands of school, work, exercise, leisure, and love are creeping ever closer. Things are going to get very busy, very strained, very fast. It's going to be a long journey, but I need to catch the train when it gets here.
